GYM FEST
GymFest 2019
GYMFEST is an all inclusive, performance only team. Gymfest team members train from September-May once a week learning many forms of gymnastics related skills including tumbling, dance, acro, cheer, parkour and rhythmic gymnastics. They will develop skills as individual athletes and a team, and build a routine to be performed at the Alberta Gymnastics GymFest Event in May.
Gymfest does not require a tryout to join, but will begin taking registrations in July for the Fall Team!

2019-2020 GymFest Schedule & Investment
Ages 7-12
- no experience or tryout required
Practice Commitment:
- Monday’s 7-8 PM
- September 2019 – May 2020
- $65/Month
Additional Costs & Commitments of Gymfest:
- $125 Annual AGF Fee
- Team Leotard – budget $50
- Gymfest Registration Fee for Spring Performance – budget $150
- Parent participation in either: 1 Bingo or $100 of fundraising profit. Parents have the option to pay this cost outright if desired.
Prices, location and event dates are released around February 2020 by Alberta Gymnastics. Last year’s event was in Calgary, but we are expecting next year’s event to be in Edmonton. Athletes are expected to arrange their own transportation to the event.
Ages 9-14
- handstand, bridge and cartwheel required upon registration.
Practice Commitment:
- Wednesday Nights 7:00-8:30
- September 2019 – May 2020
- $90/Month
- One day choreography clinic – dates TBA
