FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS Get the answers to your questions here…

What does my child need to wear to class?

Participants should wear shorts and a t-shirt/tank top or a gymnastics leotard. Jeans or clothing with zippers, buttons, and snaps are not permitted as they may get caught on the equipment and cause harm to the participant. Bare feet (no socks) are also required.

Do I have to stay while my child is participating?

Not necessarily. If your child is in Parent & Tot you are required to stay and participate with them on the gymnastics floor. For our classes 1 hour or longer, you are only required to stay if your child needs assistance in the washroom as our staff is not permitted to assist. If you are leaving the building, we do ask that you return to pick up your child promptly once their class is over. Re-occuring late pickups will result in your child’s enrollment being cancelled.

What is your cancellation policy?

Alberta Gymnastics Federation Membership & Insurance Fees are NOT refundable. Cancellations more than 8 days before the start of the session will receive a refund minus a $30 administration fee. Cancellations 7 days or less before the start of the session will receive a credit minus a $30 administration fee left on their child’s account for future use. Cancellations day of or after the start of the session will receive no refund. Registration transfers (switching days or times) will result in a $10 administration charge.

We can’t find you!! Help?

If you have been in Lethbridge for a while, we are located on the westside of the building in what is known as the “old Furniture Liquidation” building.

How do I know if my child has passed or not?

Towards the end of the session, your child’s coach will give you a recommendation on what class to enroll your child in for the next session.  Final report cards are distributed on the last class.

How do I register if I am utilizing a subsidy program?

You must pay 50% of the fees at the time of registration while you are being approved.

We are approved for Kidsport, Jumpstart, the City of Lethbridge Fee Assistance Program & Stay at home subsidy.   Some things to consider when applying for subsidy.  Kidsport only approves a maximum of 50% of fees, up to $300 per year.  Kidsport applications are reviewed on the last Wednesday of each month and they do not provide funding for a program that has already been completed. The City of Lethbridge & Jumpstart subsidies only approve up to $150.
